"High praise indeed," Quill replied, smiling as he caught his breath from that wonderful exertion. He moved off of her to lay next to her again, arms around her middle to hug her. "In case you had any doubts... so are you. I'm enjoying this sort of training," he chuckled.
Siren let out a quiet laugh, gripping his wrist and holding his hand to her cheek fondly. She scooted up to him so their bodies were in full contact again, missing their connection already. She decided to mirror his comical approach to their experience. She wasn't used to making light of any situation, but he was making it so easy for her...
"Do you think you will be able to take on a Charizard at this point?"
Really? A Charizard would be a death wish, but it was asked in jest.
"Heh!" Quill laughed, arm around her waist to pull her body up against his, pressing his chest against hers, leg rubbing against hers. "If it was for you? I'd take on a hundred Charizards. And as good as I feel right now? I bet I could beat them," he teased.
Siren, at heart, wasn't much of a kidder, so the idea of him going up against a hundred Charizard made her worry. That was... just her. A worrier. She wrapped her free leg around his and looked him dead in the eye, probably more intensely than she intended. His safety was her primary concern at that point. She didn't want to lose him.
"Ah. No, I won't," he assured her, blushing a bit at her comment. "But I mean... If it meant protecting you, I'd do anything I had to. I just want you to know that. If I had to protect you, I would do whatever I had to."
Siren frowned. She should probably have been flattered—well, more than she was—but to think he'd assume she'd be all right without him was frustrating for her. She wasn't a fan of self-sacrifice. Not in her name, at least. She'd seen too many pokemon be sent out to attack her in the name of their trainers and faint to appreciate selflessness. Does no one realize how much it hurts the survivor to watch someone else get hurt?
Still, she held her tongue. She didn't want to ruin the moment. She just tried to focus on the sentiment. She hugged him close and responded softly, trying to hide her exacerbation.
Quill wondered if he'd said something wrong. He was truthful. He cared about her, and wanted to protect her for as long as he could. But... it seemed she didn't want to hear it. He squeezed Siren tighter.
An idea popped into his mind. "Though I suppose... The easiest way to protect you is to keep you right here," he suggested, giving her a playful smile and kissing her. "Right where I can keep an eye on you..." He whispered in her ear. "And make love to you over and over again."
Siren seemed to calm down when he hugged her. Honestly? It wasn't something she should worry about. It was a hypothetical she'd brought up herself anyway. She should have expected an answer that would upset her. It was her fault. So, she nuzzled his neck and hugged him back. She was feeling better already. As long as she didn't think of anyone hurting him.
"I would like that," she responded with a smile before she kissed him back.
At that point, there wasn't anything else she wanted to say except, "I love you."
"I love you too," he mumbled back in between loving kisses, fingers exploring her soft skin. Their closeness let Siren feel his body heat keenly, especially down below where she could feel him getting aroused again. "This is the best night of my life," he admitted.
'The best part?' Siren was immensely flattered. Surely he lived a more adventurous life than she had. Sure, she'd lived a long life, but at least he'd been around the world somewhat, experiencing different cultures and pokemon. She, on the other hand, had been holed up in a cave her entire life with nothing but a handful of water pokemon acquaintances.
She could feel his arousal and it made her even more admired, in a way. Why was his attraction so flattering to her? Was it because she'd been isolated for so long and hadn't known anything so rich in emotion? Or was it because she felt the same way about him?
She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him with loving vigor, intending to convey the level of attraction to him she held. He was her favorite person. He had to know that. He had to.
Quill was amazed at how easily she brought this out of him. How she entranced him so easily, made him feel like this. He needed her, he thought. In every way imaginable. He rubbed her back, sharing the heat of his body with her as they pressed together and kissed with hunger. "Mmph..." He mumbled against her lips. "Can I...?" he asked her between needy kisses, hoping she had enough of her strength back for another joining.
If Siren was honest with herself, she knew she did indeed need it one more time. She was exhausted physically, but emotionally, she couldn't get enough of him. She felt it was a long time coming, that they'd held back for far longer than they should have, and that this night was making up for all the waiting and pining.
Without hesitation or prompting, she rolled herself on top of him, proceeding with their affectionate gestures with kisses from his lips, down his cheek, and down to his neck.
What was it about this encounter that was making her so daring? She decided she'd figure it out later. In that moment, showing him how much she loved him was all that mattered.
"Tell me how much you love me."
She knew it was a presumptuous thing to say. She knew she would regret it in the morning. But she couldn't help herself. She wanted to hear it from him, in that moment.
Quill adored her confidence, and this was such a powerful turn-on for him. As if everything she did wasn't already having that effect... He lifted his hands to rub her hips. "More than anything," he told her honestly. "You're what was missing from my life... I want to be with you, Siren."
Siren halted her kissing session to hover over him and soak in all the nice things he'd just said to her. She pressed her forehead to his and confessed her feelings in the best words she could.
"And you mine," she said quietly. She leaned down and pressed her cheek against his, whispering in his ear. "I want to be with you too..."
She laid herself down on top of him and cupped his face as she rested on her elbows.
"Always," he told her quietly, kissing her lips softly. He wrapped his arms around her middle, and slowly, tenderly, they made love one more time. It was a patient, caring time for them, and Quill adored her with soft kisses. They would be sore the next day. But as far as Quill was concerned, it would all be worth it.
When it was all over, and they were covered in sweat and satisfaction, Quill lay with her again, heart racing, hugging her warmly. He didn't want the moment to end at all. He could just stay here the rest of his life.
"...Your roommate might be back soon," he finally admitted, breathing a disappointed sigh.
"You're right. Perhaps we should go about making ourselves decent."
She had every intent to roll over and reach for her clothes, but she couldn't get herself to. She was too attached to him, too enamored. Though she had managed to separate herself from him for a moment, all it made her do was miss him, so she turned back and hugged him closer, burying her face in his chest.
"I don't want you to go," she mumbled into his bare chest. Their intimacy had left an imprint on her at that point. She tried to hold back tears, but she was unsuccessful. She genuinely didn't want him to leave. She loved him so much. They had shared something so genuine, so tender, that to think it was over was killing her inside.
Quill wanted to will himself to go pick up his clothes from the floor, but it WAS too pleasant there in Siren's grip. "I have to," he sighed in disappointment, reaching for her and clinging to her tightly. He thought it over.
"My roommate is never in," he finally commented. "If we get dressed quick, we can go there. And then I can UNdress you again."
Siren would absolutely take it. She wasn't ready to leave him yet. Maybe they could get dressed and pray their timing wasn't so bad that Blaze would show up between them exiting the sheets and putting their clothes on.
In a rush, Siren rolled over to the edge of the bed and grabbed Quill's clothes. She placed them by his side and reached for hers. Surely their luck wouldn't be so bad that her roommate would show up in their most exposed state.
Oh good, she liked that idea. Besides, he'd love to see more of her. He hopped up to his feet and pulled on his boxers, fishing for his jeans and pulling them on. "Ah... word of warning, I haven't really cleaned up much. I wasn't expecting company. Especially not, well, you," he said, buttoning up and zipping up.
Siren was sure she'd seen worse. Things strewn about? Better than rocks and water.
"It will be okay," she assured him as she pulled up her skirt and draped her blouse over her head, pulling her arms through the sleeves as if it was a skill of hers. To save Blaze a little bit of embarrassment, she kicked her bra and panties under her bed. She doubted she'd need them that night.
Don't think Quill didn't notice her kick her underwear out of sight. He made sure to remember that. Don't get distracted, man. He pulled on his shirt and buttoned it up. "It's just down the hall," he told her. "C'mon. I'll lead the way." He offered Siren his hand, and when she took it, he led the way down the hall. Fortunately his dorm was not a long walk, seeing as they lived in the same house.
Quill unlocked the door and opened it to let her in. His room was a lot more modest than Siren's. He didn't have a lot of personal things, and seemed to live minimally. But he had clothes strewn about, and on one table he had a half-eaten pizza still in its box. It was a bit messy, but it was home. And he sure hoped Siren didn't mind the decor.
To think this was what Quill what was worried about. Everything that had his signature on it, whether it was clutter or whatnot, she thought it was endearing. She squeezed his hand and kissed his cheek.
"It's lovely, don't worry."
She still felt the need to cuddle with him more. She eyed the closest bed to both of them.
"Is this one yours?" she asked with a flick of her hand in its direction.
"Next time I'll tidy up before you come," he said with a small sheepish chuckle. Squeezing her hand, he followed her gaze towards the bed she indicated. "Yeah, that's mine," he said. He hurried over to it and smoothed out the sheets, making it up a bit and fluffing pillows. If he was going to spend the night in it with Siren, he wanted it to be comfortable.
Siren was touched that he was so concerned about appearances. It honestly didn't matter to her as long as they were together. Still, his efforts weren't lost on her. Once he was done tidying as much as he felt was necessary, she plopped down on the bed and raised her welcoming arms to him, inviting him to come and cuddle.
Quill stopped himself from continuing on. He didn't need to stress over it. She didn't care. Taking a deep breath and convincing himself he wasn't disrespecting her by inviting her to a messy room, Quill sat down next to her on the bed and slid his arms around her to hug her to him. "Thanks, Siren... I'm not exactly used to having, well, any company over." He rested his forehead against hers and just relaxed in her arms like that. He had all sorts of things he wanted to do with her, but right now this was nice.
